Interim Managing Director, Jewish Relief Agency
Tara’s diverse career has included work within Jewish Non-Profits, Higher Education, and Tech spaces. While her work has varied, she has always been in roles that involve helping people. She is currently the Interim Managing Director of the Jewish Relief Agency, where she previously served for 5 years as a member of the board of directors. In her role, Tara develops and implements innovative programs and services to meet the needs of JRA clients and oversees JRA employees, volunteers, and board members. She Collaborates with the board and staff in developing, implementing, and overseeing fundraising initiatives and pursuing government, foundation, and corporate grants while forging partnerships with diverse public, private and non-profit constituencies, and stakeholders. Outside of work, Tara is the Board Chair of NextGen and a member of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia’s Leadership Development Advisory Board. She is also a member of the Board of Directors for Drexel University Hillel and is a member of the ADL’s Education Committee and the Jewish Business Networks’ Membership Committee. Originally from Elkins Park, Tara currently resides in Center City.
