Steve Rosenberg is a seasoned executive with a diverse background in leadership, strategic planning, and philanthropy. As Principal at the GSD Group, he offers fractional CEO and COO services, project management expertise, and philanthropic advisory support.
With a passion for empowering others, Mr. Rosenberg authored the book MAKE BOLD THINGS HAPPEN: Inspirational Stories from Sports, Business, and Life, which shares invaluable insights on the power of networking and cultivating meaningful connections for career advancement.
Currently serving as the Principal of the GSD Group, he is serving as the CEO for the Nagen Project and has served as the Interim CEO for Golden Slipper Camp, Club, and Charities, as well as Friends of Ofanim. Additionally, Mr. Rosenberg also collaborates with various NGOs in Israel and the United States, providing philanthropic advisory services, strategic planning, and operational guidance – particularly in the areas of security, and fighting Antisemitism. Recognizing the importance of mentorship, Mr. Rosenberg runs a successful program aimed at helping private small and mid-sized firms unlock the full potential of their newest employees. Moreover, he extends his expertise to individuals seeking guidance in achieving their career and personal goals as they embark on their professional journeys.
Previously, as the Chief Operating Officer and Interim CEO of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, Mr. Rosenberg led the organization & operational efforts, demonstrating exceptional leadership during the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, he managed the business aspects of the Jewish Exponent, a highly esteemed weekly publication renowned worldwide. Before his tenure at the Jewish Federation, Mr. Rosenberg held the position of Vice President of Marketing and Communications for the National Constitution Center, where he also served as a consultant from 2004 to 2010. He has also contributed his expertise to prominent organizations such as the Washington Bullets (now Wizards) and Comcast-Spectacor.
Notably, Mr. Rosenberg founded Myriad Associates, a sports and entertainment company that collaborated with esteemed entities such as the National Hockey League, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, Disney’s World on Ice, Nickelodeon Live, and the World Wrestling Federation. Mr. Rosenberg earned a degree in sports management from the University of Maryland and remains committed to serving the community. He holds board positions in several civic and nonprofit organizations, including Philadelphia Youth Basketball (Co-Founder), City of Philadelphia Army Navy Game Host Committee, the World Maccabiah Games, the International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame, Hope+Door, and serves as the Board Chair of the Philadelphia Jewish Sports Hall of Fame. Actively involved in initiatives such as Coaches vs Cancer, the Jameer Nelson Foundation, and the K-Lo Elite AAU Program, he generously volunteers his time with youth-based organizations.
Additionally, Mr. Rosenberg has served as an adjunct professor in the School of Tourism and Hospitality at Temple University and is a frequent guest speaker at Drexel University and other schools on the East Coast.
