Bob joined Janney in 1997. He was attracted to the firm because of its culture, client focus and support for their Financial Advisors. As a Certified Financial PlannerTM (CFP®) professional Bob provides full-service advice including:Investments, Financial Planning, Retirement Planning, Estate Planning, Life Insurance, Long Term Care Insurance, Annuities, and Charitable Planning.
Bob takes a proactive approach to help his clients achieve their financial goals. His client service philosophy is based on educating his clients on various aspects of their finances so they can have confidence in this important area of their life. He likes to keep his clients up to date with the market and how it relates to their investment portfolios.He holds a B.S. from Temple University and an M.S. from Widener University. In addition to the Certified Financial PlannerTM (CFP®) designation, he completed the Accredited Wealth Management AdvisorSM (AWMA®) program, a Wealth Management Certification program at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He also holds the Certified Retirement Planning CounselorSM (CRPC®) designation as well as the Certification for Long Term Care (CLTC®) designation, more recently he completed the Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP®). Prior to making a career change to Financial Advisor, Bob worked as a mechanical engineer for the U.S. Navy and Boeing Helicopters.
Bob is an active member of the Union League of Philadelphia where he serves on the Armed Services Council, the Business Leadership Forum and the Legacy Foundation. He serves on the Board of Trustees and as a program creator at Jewish Federation of Philadelphia. He’s also active in the charitable community helping the underserved, promoting animal welfare and creating educational programming for various non-profits. Bob enjoys the outdoors and spending time at the Jersey shore. He is active in the community with his memberships in the Kimmel Center, Barnes Museum, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Foreign Policy Research Institute, Engineers’ Club of Philadelphia, Free Library of Philadelphia and the Franklin Institute.
